Papa (as I call him) went in to Millbrook and got some hamburgers for supper. Well, one of the two older girls (neither one of the two were happy with the idea of moving to the country) spoke of with we don't have a table to eat off of. I spoke up, and told my son to help me bring the picnic table into the kitchen.
Would you believe those girls started crying because we were eating on a picnic table in our kitchen. The rest of us liked it, which didn't help their feelings. They laugh about it today.

GOOD EVENING DIRT ROAD
AND GOOD EVENING TO ALL OF YOU,
Your so right, I am not Kim. I am really her favorite Mother-n-law. I don't think she has another one. Ummmmm, I'm sure she doesn't.
My family and I moved on to the dirt road on June 7, 1978. To be honest with you, it was Joe Sr., myself, three daughters, one son, one cat, one bird, one mother dog and six puppies. You know that was not enough, so we got a Shetland Pony.
There was woods all around us. My sister lived just a little piece up the road from us. It was quiet and peaceful (especially when the children went to school). We picked up rocks, and planted grass and then planted those Azalea Bushes. There was and still is White Dogwood Trees.

sad day-- love you cookie !
well this moring i recieved a phone call i knew was coming but still dreading terribly. my aunt, mom's last immediate family member, has left this world to be with Jesus. it has been a long, long, long, fight on her part. dr's have told her many times they are not giving her much time. each time seemed she was told that she seemed to find a new strength and continue the fight. well now that it has be almost three years since that first expiration date was given that Gods time for her has come. rest in peace sweet one. you will be terribly missed. you were a true blessing each and every day that we had you. thank you for everything you taught me. say hello to the rest of the family. we will all see eachother again one day. i love you.
rest in peace cookie.
