How does the garden grow?
it's almost spring and we are well on our way to having a garden. finally got the plot tilled up. thanks to a great guy with a tractor.
roger put out some minerals or vitamins whatever it was on the freshly tilled plot. so yesterday i tilled that in really well. for some reason it was much easier this time.
today we are supposed to plant the brussel spouts and pole beans. never planted brussel spouts so this is a new one for me. it has a stalk like okra, and produces like peas. this should be interesting.
we will see how it goes. will post pics of progress.

saturday nite JEFF DUNHAM

those of you that actually know us, it seems that regardless of what we do its always and adventure. not to disappoint anyone .......... the biloxi adventure
we left early for biloxi, so we could play a little and get something to eat before the show. we
(all 14 of us) were only 15 minutes away. so we decide that we need to leave about 6:45 - 7:00. this would give us plenty of time, since its just down the road. yeah right
well us and 15 million other jeff ffa ffa fans had the same idea. we moved like a snail at the south pole. 20 minutes only about 1/2 mile. found out later that the only way in is either east or west on this road, cause the other roads are still screwed up from the hurricaine. so dee starts talking to people on the sidewalk. she asks them how far the place is. "its not far", "only about mile or less", "just past the white fence". so she talks to each car load of people and we decide since it wasnt that far and we werent getting anywhere driving, we would just park and walk. ok think about this.....its COLD, kims shoes werent made for walking (like this anyway, cause they are just cute), and i really gotta pee. not good. so we park and start walking. we only have like 20 minutes to get there before the show starts. we are walking really fast. i dont see any white fence. i dont see any fence at all. walk a little faster. warming up a bit. still gotta pee tho. keep walking still no white fence. folks dont have a clue what a mile or so really is. stupid people. i really gotta pee. feet hurt. keep walking. finally white fence in site. almost there. NOT. the stupid people didnt tell us the fence is two blocks long!! feet seriously hurting, warm now, really really gotta pee. well we finally make it there. they have to wait for me cause I GOT THE TICKETS. lol. we all make it in and bee line to the potty. THE LINE IS WAY TOOO LONG. i start unbuckling the belt and button up levi's getting ready. gonna pop soon. finally relief.
sweetie goes in an finds our seats. we all get to our area and take a seat. well the usher is having a hissy cause we are not sitting where our tickets say we are supposed to. finally after i pass him the reciept for all the tickets and he studies them for about 5 minutes, he gets a clue that we aint moving.
the show is great. jeff ffa ffa is hilarious!!!!!!!! almost peed on myself. lol.
needless to say we all peed before we left for our 14 mile trip back to the truck. its really really cold and feet have blisters. yeah great.
i am going to try to put some pics on the blog.

NOPE NOT DEAD....YET...LOL
Well to say the least it has been a very, busy, and crazy past few weeks. Time sure takes its sweet time when you're being tortured. lol. Well work has been, fun. NOT. Crazy patients, even crazier co-workers. let's just stop at that before i go off on that wild ride.
Have ya seen the weather for this weekend??? well you need to check it out. TALKING INSANE. storming and warm and then snow. WHAT????
whatever. Lord knows what He's doing. He knows not to let me control the weather. sunny and 75 in downtown deatsville. possible rain showers tuesday and thursdays. lol
well have some adventurous news..... we (us and yankee neighbors Kat & Rog) are doing a garden. we started tilling the ground (as in me, myself, and I). once we(lol) got through the grass and past the concret like gound, i managed to finally make maybe one inch of progress. worked for almost 2 hours and made little progress. i guess the good thing is i didnt have to come home and work out....lol. i was whipped!!! there is a nice area that has wonderful black dirt. but the rest.....ggggrrrr.
Anyway the neighbor-Huey-next to Rog & Kat came over to watch me work i guess. everytime i looked at him he was kind of grining. i guess he thought what i was doing was pretty funny in his eyes. well after i finally was too tired to till anymore, i put the stuff away and went to the tiki bar and sat with the yanks. Huey told Roger that that ground was too hard to work that tiller and he would bring the tractor and disc it up for us. i just sat there looking at him. i guess that was what was funny cause i was killing myself for nothing. i told him he could of told me that earlier. well what fun would that have been.
gee thanks. great friends. great fun.

not posting daily
TOO COLD TO TYPE. okay so spring is some 45 days away. NO CLOSE ENOUGH. i have got to defrost soon. i hate cold weather. no humity = me shocking me a multitude of times a day. ggggrrrr.
in my mind i am some place warm and i can hear the waves gently pounding the bank of sand. warm sand that i have my polished toes buried in.

grown children
have you ever heard the old saying "once a man, twice a child". i have always thought that to mean we start as a child and end as a child (child like) in our old old age. so this leaves to be a man (or woman) in between.
what is the saying that when grown folks refuse to grow up.....lol sometimes this is great. have fun, live life, play.... well as i have mentioned before we have a Wii. well this has brought out the child in all sorts of people. it has been quite funny to watch. here are some pictures of the "children" playing..... ( i hope i can get them on here ) just wish you could be a fly on the wall watching these folks

it's finally friday.....well close anyway
ever have one of those days that just feels like it was a week in one day. that was today. to say the least i am sick of teeth for a while. till tomorrow anyway gotta go to a class tomorrow. yeah me. darn didn't get by the library for a good book. i really dont like going to these classes but i have to get 12 credits a year to maintain my license. sometimes the sponsors will have some really good munchies for us. probably be so boring i will fall asleep (like usual )
today. computers had major brain cramps. worked most of that out. then station one just went completely stupid. so had to shut down everyone of the critters and try to start again. during this short reboot....... patients want to check out and pay their bill, phone in ringing like crazy, people coming in and wanting to ask questions, and wonderful children are making lovely loud noises in the waiting area. on top of that the credit card machine will not work because the phone people did not connect something when they tried to connect us to the internet. (that still doesnt work). each one of us has at least one patient in their room. just crazy. but its done.
now only one computer does not work. which its the one all the others talk to, so now we can not print anything because the help desk does not know how to fix the problem. well its really not their problem its the computer setter up people. which no one has a clue who that was 5 years ago. so smart me decides to bypass the brain cramp station one and get the printer strait to the station 2 computer so we can get stuff printed. can you believe it worked.

the transplants
well now i guess i should give a clue about the rest of our family. well we have some transplanted dirt roaders that moved to the real big city a few years ago. well liz which is joe's little baby sister. well she and her two girls (jessica 18 and brooke 14) moved when she married this crazy man stephen. he's really great. he has a sweet semi country girl who got mixed up in this great family. her name is liz (lil bit) she's 17. she fits right in though just like she should.

liz may be the baby sister (to joe) but she's one tough cookie. sort of like chocolate chip with nuts. lol. sweet, enjoyable, not quite right some days. she's the compter whiz chick. when we screw up something on the computer we call her and cry about it. she's still gets suprised how we screw up the computer so much. keep punching buttons till something happens. usually this is not a good thing. so she says.

first day
well it seems that my mother-in-law, correction my wonderful mother-in-law, thinks that i should start a blog. it seems that while posting a note on my brother-in-laws blog i somehow registered as a blogger. so to please my wonderful maw-in-law i have now created a BLOG.

when i get a clue what i am doing i will try to do some pictures.
for starters don't get tooo excited, cause i really don't have a clue what one is supposed to blog about. but what the hey cause IT'S MY BLOG and i can blog about nothing. ha ha ha
so here goes nothing.
it's me (kim), joe, nicole(coley), and andrew(rudy) living almost at the end of the old dirt road. we live in a house that was previously owned by my beloved inlaws. they moved to the big city. you check nita out on her blog when you get a chance. http://ourfamilynews-jw.blogspot.com/ nita is a blast. okay so back to us. we have three dogs that might as well be children too. cooper, well he's top dog, king of the domain. 75 lbs of jet black lab that thinks he's a lap dog.SPOILED. then there's ninja, he's second dog. looks mean but really not. he's part rotwiller, and sooner be one dog as another. he's the protector espically of rudy. he's only about 83 lbs. then the little rodent cujo, well he is supposed to be the outside dog but he manages to worm his way in. he looks like a wolf. a small version anyway only about 50 lbs. (nita calls him wolf dog) he doesn't do much but eat and sleep and annoy the big dogs.
back to the real kids ............ there's the oldest he's 43....lol.. my dear old hubby. loves to PLAY, PLAY, PLAY, watch FOOZBALL (non water boy people thats football), horseshoes, consume 12oz beverages, and PLAY somemore.
to the brains of the bunch......no not me ..... lol.... coley girl......our college girl. she's our baby girl. smart, tough, hunting, pickup driving, 4wheeling, mudslinging, jean wearing, whoop yo tail on the Wii, bad mood if i don't get my sleep. she's the somewhat neat and tidy child. she's my good house cleaner. always count on coley. that's our baby
to the musician of the bunch......again not me.....lol.....rudy.... finally made it to high school. (he did it on the first try) our sweet baby boy. well he is musically talented. where he got that i don't have a clue (nita). he can play the trumpet, and the xylophone. (surely mispellet that) but he also can cook. yummy. sure helps mom with the cooking. but ya gotta love him, he can NOT clean up after himself (a trait from the oldest child). very creative one. (don't tell him but he's more drama that his sister) ssssshhhhh. that's the boy child (he hates it when i call him that)
i guess its my turn. well not much. i love my crazy multi talented family. yes including my inlaws and all. i really enjoy cooking for folks. like to have folks over, play cards, watch the kids play Wii, not to creative in most areas, but like to try it sometimes, favorite thing to do is read, or play card games online (that are fast), sitting around a nice fire, play rudy's ds (it's a gameboy thing).
